Pag-atake sa U.S. military base sa Iraq kinumpirma ng White House

Naipaalam na kay U.S. President Donald Trump ang pag-atake ng Iran sa U.S. military base sa Iraq.

Ayon kay White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, naka-monitor ngayon si Trump sa sitwasyon kasama ang kaniyang national security team.

Wala pa namang pahayag mula sa White House kung paano tutugunan ang sitwasyon.

Kabilang sa inaatake ang pinakamalaking U.S. military base sa Iraq na Al Asad Air Base at ang Erbil sa northern Iraq.

“We are aware of the reports of attacks on US facilities in Iraq. The President has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team.” ayon kay Grisham.

Noong nakaraang Thanksgiving celebration, nagtungo pa si Trump sa Ayn al-Assad base at doon nagdiwang kasama ang mga sundalo ng Amerika.
