NCRPO: Permit to carry firearms suspendido para sa Trasclacion

Ipinag-utos ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang suspensyon ng permit to carry firearms outside of residence (PTCFOR) sa ilang bahagi ng Maynila para sa Traslacion 2020.

Ayon kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas, sakop ng kautusan ang Quiapo, Sta. Cruz at Binondo.

Epektibo ang suspensyon ng pemit to carry firearms hanggang alas-8:00 ng umaga sa Biyernes.

Bahagi ito ng security preparations para tiyaking walang firearm-related incident na magaganap sa pista ng Itim na Nazareno.

“I have absolute faith that this will affect the maintenance of peace and order situation in the concerned areas,” ani Sinas.

Ayon kay Sinas ang suspensyon ng permit to carry firearms ay direktiba mismo ni PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa.

Ang mga miyembro lamang ng PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines at iba pang law enforcement agencies na may official duties ang papayagang magdala ng armas.

Sinabi naman ni Sinas na walang namomonitor na banta ang pulisya para sa Traslacion 2020.
