Sec. Tugade, Japanese minister Naokazu nagpulong ukol sa infra projects sa bansa
Nagpulong sina Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade at Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy Takemoto Naokazu, araw ng Martes.
Ayon sa kagawaran, tinakalay ng dalawang opisyal ang progreso sa transport infrastructure projects at mga programa ng DOTr sa railways, aviation, maritime at road sectors.
Maliban dito, ibinahagi rin ng kalihim ang programa at inisyatibo ng DOTr para itulak ang modernisasyon ng sektor ng transportasyon kabilang ang Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
Napag-usapan din ng dalawang opisyal ang pagpapaigting ng seguridad sa karagatan sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng modernong teknolohiya at radars mula sa Japanese government.
Ibinida rin ni Tugade ang Philippine Railways Institute (PRI).
Samantala, ipinarating ng kalihim ang pagnanais na magproseso sa pamamagitan ng teknolohiya para sa mas mabilis na serbisyo sa publiko.
“If we want to develop and we want to grow, we must innovate. Innovation for me is very much necessary,” ani Tugade.
