Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 62 kilometro Hilagang-Kanluran ng bayan ng Luna.
May lalim ang pagyanig na 28 kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Hindi naman ito nagdulot ng pinsala sa mga ari-arian at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
