2020 budget, pirmado na ni Pangulong Duterte
Pirmado na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang P4.1-trillion 2020 national budget.
Pinirmahan ng pangulo ang General Appropriations Act (GAA) 2020 sa idinaos na seremonya sa Rizal Hall sa Malakanyang, Lunes ng hapon.
Mas malaki ang pambansang pondo para sa 2020 nang 12 porsyento kumpara noong 2019 budget.
Nakalaan ang pinakamalaking bahagi ng pondo para sa social services sector na nasa P1.495 trillion para sa mga program ng gobyerno pagdating sa sektor ng edukasyon, kalusugan at social protection.
Nasa 29.3 porsyento naman ng pondo sa 2020 ang inilaan sa economic services na may kabuuang P1.2 trillion.
Malaki rin ang inilaang pondo sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at Department of Transportation (DOTr) para sa infrastructure projects ng gobyerno sa ilalim ng Build, Build, Build program.
Ilan sa mga nakasaksi ng pagpirma ng pangulo sa 2020 budget ay sina Senate President Vicente Sotto III, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, at iba pang mambabatas.
