Pilipinas bahagyang gumanda ang ranking sa World Risk Index

May improvement sa ranking ng Pilipinas sa World Risk Index para sa nagdaang taon.

Ang World Risk Index ay inilalabas taun-taon at binibigyang ranking ang mga bansa na lantad sa natural desasters o nakaranas ng kalamidad sa nakalipas na taon.

Sa inilabas na WorldRiskIndex Report 2019 mula sa number 3 noong nakaraang taon ay nasa number 9 na lamang ang Pilipinas sa mga bansa sa mundo na maituturing na “most at risk to natural disasters”.

Ilang puntos na pagbaba ito kumpara sa 2018 ranking ng bansa.

Ang WorldRiskIndex ay binuo United Nations University – EHS, para bigyan ng ranking ang mga bansa na lantad sa natural hazards at apektado ng climate change.
