Pumanaw na sa edad na 78 ang veteran journalist at founder ng broadsheet na The Daily Tribune na si Ninez Cacho-Olivares.

Sa Facebook page ng The Daily Tribune,nakasaad na umaga ng Biyernes (Jan. 3) pumanaw si Olivares dahil sa matagal nang karamdaman.

Inalala din ang mga pagsubok na pinagdaanan ng pahayagan na matapang na hinarap ni Olivares lalo na noong panahong siya ay editor-in-chief.
