Imbestigasyon sa kontrata sa pagitan ng MRT/LRT sa provider ng Beep Card posibleng isagawa ng DOJ
Bukas ang Department of Justice (DOJ) sa posibleng pagsilip sa kontrata ng Department of Transportation at AF Payments Inc. sa MRT/LRT Beep Card.
Sa harap ito ng sinasabing mga probisyon sa nasabing kontrata kung saan dehado ang gobyerno.
Ayon kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra, agad silang magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa nasabing isyu oras na pormal na hilingin ng Dept of Transportation o kayay ipag-utos mismo ng Pangulong Duterte.
Sinabi pa ni Sec. Guevarra na posibleng talakayin din ang nasabing isyu sa susunod na cabinet meeting.
Naungkat ang panawagang pagsilip sa kontrata sa beep card supplier matapos na tumaas ang presyo nito sa P30 mula sa P20.
