Isa pang mambabatas ng US pinagbawalan ni Pangulong Duterte na makapasok sa bansa
Isa pang mambabatas ng Estados Unidos ang pinagbawalan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na makapasok sa bansa.
Ito ay si Senator Edward Markey ng Massachusetts.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, pinatawan ng ban si Markey matapos itong magsalita at manawagan ng pagpapalaya kay Senator Leila De Lima.
Sinuportahan din ni Markey ang entry ban sa US ng ilang opisyal ng Pilipinas.
“Yes, same reason for banning Durbin and Leahy. Truth to tell we do not have to state any ground to ban a foreign national entry in the Philippines. That is an exercise of sovereign right,” ayon kay Panelo sa kaniyang mensahe sa INQUIRER.net
Una nang inatasan ni Pangulong Duterte ang Bureau of Immigration na huwag papasukin sa bansa sina US Senators Dick Durbin at Patrick Leahy.
