Baybayin ng Bataan, Palawan at ilang bahagi ng Visayas positibo sa red tide toxins

Positibo pa rin sa red tide toxins ang ilang baybaying dagat sa Luzon at Visayas.

Sa inilabas na shelfish bulletin ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Biyernes, Dec. 27 nagpositibo sa red tide toxins ang mga shellfish na nakuha sa coastal waters ng sumusunod na lugar:

– Bataan (Mariveles, Limay, Orion, Pilar, Balanga, Hermosa, Orani, Abucay at Samal)
– Puerto Princesa Bay, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan
– Coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol
– Irong-irong, San Pedro at Silanga Bays sa Western Samar
– Matarinao Bay sa Eastern Samar
– Cancabato Bay, Tacloban City sa Leyte
– Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur

Ayon sa BFAR lumagpas sa regulatory limit ang paralytic shellfish poison na nakita sa mga shellfish na nakulekta sa nasabing mga lugar.
