Bilang ng stranded na pasahero sa mga pantalan nadagdagan pa

Libu-libong pasahero ang posibleng abutin ng Noche Buena sa mga pantalan.

Marami na kasing mga pasahero ang stranded dahil hindi pinapayagan ang paglalayag ng mga sasakyang pandagat sa mga lugar na apektado ng Severe Tropical Storm Ursula.

Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as of alas 8:00 ng umaga ng Martes, Dec. 24 ay 21,010 na pasahero ang stranded sa mga pantalan sa Bicol, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Southern Tagalog, Northern Mindanao, Western Visayas at Southern Visayas.

Suspendido ang operasyon ng 2,184 rolling cargoes, 36 motorbancas, at 170 na barko.

Mayroon namang 74 barko at 5 motorbancas ang humimpil muna sa mas ligtas na lugar.

Tiniyak ng coast guard na mahigpit na ipatutupad ang alituntunin sa pagbabawal sa paglalayag ng mga sasakyang pandagat sa mga lugar na hindi maganda ang lagay ng panahon.
