Bagyong Ursula lumakas pa; TCWS number 2 nakataas pa rin sa maraming lugar

Patuloy sa paglakas ang Severe Tropical Storm Ursula habang papalapit ito sa Eastern Visayas.

Sa 8am weather bulletin ng PAGASA, huling namataan ang bagyon sa layong 250 kilometers East ng Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Taglay nito ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 100 kilometers bawat oras malapit sa gitna at pabugsong aabot sa 125 kilometers bawat oras.

Kumikilos ang bagyo sa bilis na 30 kilometers bawat oras sa direksyong pa-kanluran.

Nakataas ang tropical cyclone wind signal number 2 sa sumusunod na mga lugar:
– Romblon
– Albay
– Sorsogon
– Masbate kabilang ang Burias at Ticao Islands
– Northern Samar
– Eastern Samar
– Samar
– Leyte
– Biliran
– extreme northern Cebu (Bantayan, Camotes Islands, Bantayan, Madridejos, Santa Fe, Daanbantayan, Medellin, San Remigio, Bogo City, Tabogon, Tabuelan, Borbon, San Francisco, Poro, Tudela, Pilar)
– northeastern Iloilo (Carles, Balasan, Estancia, Batad, San Dionisio, Sara, Concepcion, Lemery, Ajuy)
– northern Antique (Libertad, Pandan, Sebaste, Culasi, Tibiao), Capiz, at Aklan)

– Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains sa nalalabing bahagi ng Bicol Region, Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, at nalalabing bahagi ng Visayas at Surigao del Norte.

• Between tomorrow noon and late evening
– Occasional to frequent heavy rains sa Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Romblon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Batangas, at Calamian Islands
– Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains sa Cuyo Islands, Negros Provinces, Iloilo, Guimaras, Aurora, at nalalabing bahagi ng CALABARZON

Inaasahang tatama sa kalupaan ng Eastern Visayas ang kaya maaring magtaas ng TCWS #3 ilang bahagi ng naturang rehiyon.
