CPP, magpapatupad ng ceasefire kung ipapag-utos din ng gobyerno ang tigil-putukan
Inanunsiyo ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) ang pagpapatupad ng ceasefire sa lahat ng unit ng New People’s Army (NPA) ngayong panahon ng Kapaskuhan.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, ipinag-utos ng CPP sa NPA ang tigil-putukan laban sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) mula sa Lunes ng madaling-araw, December 23, hanggang January 7, 2020.
Ngunit kondisyon ng CPP, magiging epektibo ito kung magpapatupad din ang gobyerno ng Suspension of Military Operations (SOMO) at Suspension of Police Operations (SOPO).
Sinabi ng CPP na ang kanilang desisyon ay base sa rekomendasyon ng Negotiating Panel ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
Mananatili namang nasa “defensive mode” ang NPA sa strategic at tactical levels sa panahon ng ceasefire.
Sa ngayon, wala pang inilalabas na pahayag ang gobyerno ukol dito.
