Duterte sa ICC: I am responsible only to the Filipino

Binanatan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang International Criminal Court (ICC) at iginiit na kahit kailan ay hindi siya papayag na magkaroon ng huridiskyon ang naturang korte sa kanya.

Sa talumpati sa kauna-unahang Presidential Silent Drill Competition sa Quirino Grandstand, araw ng Biyernes, hinamon ng pangulo ang ICC na ipakulong siya.

“You do not scare me na pakulong mo ako diyan sa International Court — Criminal Court. T***… I will never allow myself to answer itong mga puti,” ani Duterte.

Gayunman, hindi umano siya kailanman makikiisa sa mga pagdinig ng ICC dahil may pananagutan lamang siya sa mga Filipino.

“Hoy, loko-loko kayong mga … I will never, never, never answer any question coming from you. It’s b*** s*** to me. I am responsible only to the Filipino. Ang maghusga, Filipino. And if you hang me for what I did, go ahead. It will be my pleasure,” dagdag ng pangulo.

Ang pahayag ng presidente ay matapos sabihin ng ICC na sa 2020 nila dedesisyunan kung kailangan ang full-blown investigation sa madugong drug war ng administrasyon.

Ang preliminary investigation ng ICC ay nag-ugat sa reklamong inihain ng abugadong si Jude Sabio noong April 2017.

Inireklamo ang administrasyong Duterte ng crimes against humanity dahil sa umano’y extrajudicial killings sa drug war.
