WATCH: PMA itinanghal na kampeon sa 1st Presidential Silent Drill Competition
Itinanghal na kampeon sa 1st Presidential Silent Drill Competition ang Philippine Military Academy.
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang kompetisyon na idinaos sa Quirino Grandstand.
Bilang kampeon, tumanggap ang PMA ng P300,000 mula sa Office of the President.
Pumangalawa sa pwesto ang Philippine National Police Academy na nagawagi ng P200,000 na premyo.
Nasa ikatlong pwesto naman ang Philippine Merchant Marine Academy na nag-uwi ng P100,000 na premyo.
Nasa pang-apat na pwesto ang Philippine Army Officer Candidate, ikalima ang Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, ikaanim ang Philippine Air
Force Officer Candidate School at ikapito ang Philippine Navy Officer Candidate School.
Tumanggap sila ng consolation prize na tig-P50,000.
Nangako naman ang pangulo na sa susunod na kompetisyon ay mas tataasan pa ang premyo.
Ang silent drill competition ay direktiba ni Panglong Duterte sa Department of National Defense (DND) at sa Presidential Security Group (PSG) para mai-promote ang interest sa ROTC program.
