Nasawi sa pag-atake ng umano’y NPA sa Eastern Samar umakyat na sa 4

Umabot na sa apat ang bilang ng namatay sa pag-atake ng umanoy’ mga rebeldeng New People’s Army (NPA) sa Borongan City, Eastern Samar noong nakaraang linggo.

Ayon kay Police Regional Office (PRO) – Eastern Visayas spokesperson Lt. Col. Ma. Bella Rentuaya, isa pang sibilyan ang binawian ng buhay habang ginagamot sa Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC) sa Tacloban City.

Kinilala ang biktima na si na kinilalang si Mary Grace Rapada, 44 anyos.

Matatandaang nasawi ang tatlo pa na sina Agripena Traboco, 69, anyos; Anthony Balayanto, 50 anyos; at ang pulis na si Patrolman Mark Jerome Rama.

Si Rama ay miyembro ng 1st Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC) na patungo sanang Eastern Samar Police Provincial Office (ESPPO) Headquarters nang pasabugan ito ng improvised explosive device (IED) at paulanan ng bala ng mga terorista.

Labing-apat ang nasugatan sa pag-atake at walo ay ginagamot pa rin sa mga ospital.

Ayon kay Rentuaya, patuloy na pinaghahanap ang mga responsible sa krimen.
