2 rebelde patay matapos makaengkwentro ang mga awtoridad sa Quezon City
Patay ang dalawang rebelde matapos makasagupa ang pulisya at militar sa Novaliches, Quezon City araw ng Huwebes.
Ayon sa pahayag ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) nakilala ang mga rebelde na sina Eleuterio Sadyaw Agmaliw ng Kilusang larangay Gerilya ng Sierra Madre at Freddie Daileg ng Central Luzon Regional Committee.
Bandang alas-3:30 ng umaga ay magsisilbi lamang sana ng arrest warrants ang mga pulis at sundalo sa safehouse nina Agmaliw at Daileg sa Damong Maliit ngunit nanlaban ang mga ito.
Wanted umano ang dalawa sa mga kasong destructive arson, murder, frustrated murder, at rebelyon.
Nakumpiska sa engkwentro ang M16 rifle na loaded ng magazine, dalawang pistols na loaded ng magazines, dalawang fragmentation grenades, components ng improvised explosive device, cellphones, laptop, at “subversive” documents.
Nagpasalamat ang AFP para sa mga impormasyon ng komunidad ng Damong Maliit ukol sa dalawa.
Iginiit ng AFP na magpapatuloy ang operasyon nito laban sa mga terorista na nagbabalak na gumawa ng masama.
“The AFP will be unrelenting in our operations to get these terrorists lurking in the outskirts of the city waiting for the opportune time to strike,” ayon sa AFP.
