Ayaw nang makialam ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa impeachment na kinakaharap ni U.S. President Donald Trump.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, maaring denisisyunan ang impeachment ni Trump sa pamamagitan ng party affiliations gaya sa Pilipinas.
Nabatid na ang mga democrats ang sumuporta sa impeachment kay Trump.
Ayon kay Panelo, mas makabubuting hayaan na lamang ang Amerika na magdesisyon sa kapalaran ni Trump lalo’t ayaw din naman ng Palasyo na pinakikialaman ng ibang bansa ang mga panloob na usapin sa Pilipinas.
“In the same way that we react on any intrusion into the processes of our government, we’d rather not make any comment on that. Other than saying that in the same way that the impeachment in this country is decided in the basis of party affiliations, e siguro ganoon din sila,” ani Panelo.
Inaprubahan ng Democratic-led House of Representatives ang impeachment kay Trump dahil sa obstruction of Congress at abuse of power kaugnay sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Ukraine.
