Benguet Rep. Fongwan Sr. pumanaw sa edad na 68

Pumanaw na sa edad na 68 si Benguet Rep. Nestor Fongwan Sr.

Ayon kay Nestor Fongwan Jr., anak ng mambabatas, pumanaw si Fongwan Sr. alas 10:42 ng gabi ng Miyerkules, Dec. 18.

Hindi pa naman naglalabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang pamilya ni Fongwan Sr. hinggil sa kung ano ang kaniyang ikinasawi.

Bago maging mambabatas, si Fongwan Sr. ay naging gobernador ng Benguet sa loob ng tatlong termino mula 2007 haggang 2016.

Naging alkalde din siya ng La Trinidad, Benguet mula 1995 hanggang 2001 at 2004 hanggang 2007.
