Nasungkit ng Philippine climber na si Gerald Verosil, 18 taong gulang ang bronze medal sa Male Juniors Lead category sa Asian Youth
Championships 2019 na ginanap sa Bengaluru sa India.
Ang nakasungkit naman ng gold at silver medals ay sina Japanese athletes Sohta Amagasa at Yuta Imaizumi.
Nakuha rin ni Verosil ang ikaapat na pwesto sa Male Juniors Bouldering category.
Samantala, nakapasok din sa finals ng Female Youth Lead and Bouldering categories si Derille Pagayon, 16 taong gulang.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na nagpadala ang Philippine National Climbing Team ng delegado sa isang international competition.
