Danish-French actress na si Anna Karina pumanaw na

Pumanaw na ang French New Wave icon na si Anna Karina sa edad na 79.

Sinabi ng agent ni Karina na si Laurent Balandras sa AFP na pumanaw ang aktres sa isang ospital sa Paris araw ng Linggo dahil sa cancer.

Ang tinaguriang 60’s chick ay bumida sa 7 pelikula sa direksyon ng kanyang dating asawa na si Jean-Luc Godard.

Naging matagumpay din ang aktres sa larangan ng pag-awit kung saan sumikat ang kanyang kanta na “Sous Le Soleil Exactement” kasama si Serge Gainsbourg para sa kanyang musical na “Anna” noong 1967.

Si Karina rin ang unang French actress na naging direktor ng “Vivre Ensemble” isang feature film na tungkol sa pag-iibigan ng isang history teacher at isang babae na nauwi sa droga at domestic violence.
