Misuari, itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte bilang special economic envoy to OIC
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) chairman Nur Misuari bilang Special Economic Envoy on Islamic Affairs to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, inanunsiyo ito ng pangulo sa kanilang pulong sa Davao City, araw ng Biyernes.
Ayon sa pangulo, makakatulong si Misuari na humaba pa ang maayos na ugnayan ng bansa sa mga lider ng Islamic countries.
Nagpasalamat din si Duterte sa MNLF founder para sa suporta nito sa gobyerno.
Nagpulong ang Punong Ehekutibo at si Misuari kasama ang mga miyembro ng government peace panel at Peace Coordinating Committee ukol sa nalalabing commitments sa Tripartite Review Process (TRP) ng 1996 Final Peace Agreement.
