PNP, nakataas na sa full alert status para sa holiday season
Nakataas na sa full alert status ang Philippine National Police (PNP) para sa panahon ng Kapaskuhan.
Sa inilabas na memorandum circular “Paskuhan” 2019, ipinag-utos na ni PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa ang pagtataas ng full alert status.
Epektibo ito mula sa 6:00, Linggo ng umaga (December 15) hanggang 6:00, Linggo ng umaga (January 5, 2020).
Nasa kabuuang 69,335 na pulis, katuwang ang 157,264 na force multipliers, ang magpapatupad ng Enhanced Managing Police Operations (E-MPO) Strategy ng PNP para sa mas mahigpit na security operations.
Mamanduhan din ng mga pulis ang mga community firecracker zones, assistance hubs, simbahan, malls, road safety points, pantalan, istasyon ng tren at paliparan.
Paiigtingin din ang police visibility at patrol operations para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga dadalo sa tradisyunal na Simbang Gabi o Misa de Gallo simula sa Lunes (December 16).
