Sumuko ang anim na miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa Masbate.
Ayon sa PCG, sumuko ang mga dating rebelde noong Miyerkules, December 11.
Isinuko rin ng mga dating rebelde ang tig-iisang M16 rifle, .45 caliber pistol, at .38 caliber pistol.
Nakatanggap ang mga sumuko ng monetary assistance.
Maliban dito, ipapasok din ang anim sa Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) ng gobyerno kung saan bibigyan sila ng training at livelihood programs mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno.
Dinala naman ng PCG ang anim kay Joint Task Force Bicolandia Commander Maj. Gen. Fernando Trinidad ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa Sitio Baclay, Barangay Bacolod sa Milagros, Masbate.
