Sa isinagawang closing ceremony sa Athletic Stadium sa New Clark City sa Tarlac, pormal na tinapos ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ang SEA Games.
Pprmal na ring ipinasang Pilipinas sa kinatawan ng Vietnam ang Watawat ng SEA Games bilang susunod na host ng palaro sa 2021.
