PNP, Immigration, nakikipag-ugnayan sa Chinese counterparts para matukoy ang Chinese criminals sa bansa

Nakikipag-ugnayan na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) at Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa kanilang Chinese counterparts para makilala ang mga Chinese nationals na sangkot sa iba’t ibang krimen sa bansa kabilang ang kidnapping.

Ito ay matapos ang insidente ng kidnapping sa babaeng Chinese sa Makati City.

Ayon kay DOJ Undersecretary Markk Perete, ipag-uutos ang deportation laban sa mga kriminal na Chinese.

Nakikipag-ugnayan na rin si Perete sa Office of the Police Attache (CPA) para mabantayan ang pagkilos ng mga Chinese personalities na sangkot sa masasamang gawain.

“Our Bureau of Immigration has a standing arrangement with the PNP-Anti-Kidnapping Group for the identification of those involved in kidnapping operations, and their exclusion or deportation if warranted,” ani Perete.

Una rito, sinabi ng PNP – Anti Kidnapping Group na nitong 2019 tumaas ng 71 percent ang bilang ng Chinese nationals na nadukot sa bansa kumpara noong 2018.

Hanggang nitong Nobyembre, 58 na Chinese nationals ang dinukot, lubhang mas mataas sa 34 na naitala noong nakaraang taon.

Ayon kay PNP-AKG spokesperson Col. Joel Saliba, kadalasang may kinalaman sa casino ang dahilan ng mga pagdukot.
