Panukalang 2020 national budget nakalusot na sa Bicameral Conference Committee

Inaprubahan na ng Bicameral Conference Committee ang panukalang P4.1 trillion national budget para sa taong 2020.

Isang hakbang na lamang ang kailangan upang ganap na maging isang batas ang panukalang pambansang pondo.

Gaya ng naipangako, agad inaprubahan ng Senate at House Panel ang panukalang budget matapos ang serye ngpagpupulong.

Present sa isinagawang signing at approval sina Senate finance committee chair Sonny Angara, Senators Sherwin Gatchalian, Nancy Binay, Imee Marcos, Francis Pangilinan, Richard Gordon, Christopher Go, at Joel Villanueva.

Sa panig ng Kamara, present sina Majority Leader at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, House appropriations chair at Davao 3rd District Rep. Isidro Ungab.

Kasama din sina Reps. Joey Salceda, Luis Raymund Villafuerte, Neptali Gonzales, Jose Antonio Sy-Alvarado, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Bernadette Herrera-Dy, Alfred Vargas, Edcel Lagman, Janette Garin, Ronaldo Zamora, Romeo Momo Sr., Jocelyn Limkaichong, Teodorico Haresco Jr., Juan Pablo Bondoc, Junie Cua, Minority Leader Bienvenido Abante Jr., Michael John Duavit at Aurelio Gonzales Jr.

Inaasahan ding raratipikahan ng Senado at Kamara ang panukalang budget ngayong hapon sa kani-kanilang idaraos na sesyon.

Ayon kay Ungab, plano nilng maisumite kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang 2020 General Appropriations Bill (GAB) sa December 21.

Mayroong hanggang December 31 ang pangulo para ito ay lagdaan upang sa pagpasok ng January 1, 2020 ay maiwasan ang reenacted budget.
