Kaso ng pagdukot sa Makati, isolated case lang – Malakanyang

Itinuturing ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na isang isolated case lamang ang ulat ng pagdukot sa isang babaeng Chinese sa Makati City.

Pahayag ito ng Palasyo matapos kumpirmahin ng Makati police na dinukot ang hindi pa nakikilang biktima sa Paseo de Roxas corner Nieva Street noong Lunes ng gabi gamit ag isang van.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, bagamat isolated case, kinakailangan pa rin na maging alerto at mag-ingat ang publiko.

“I think that particular incident is isolated. I have not heard of any kidnapping cases reported by the media or whether word of mouth except for the video that went viral,” ani Panelo.

Apela ng Palasyo sa publiko, agad na ipagbigay-alam sa mga pulis kapag mayroong napansin na kahina-hinalang tao sa paligid.

“We should always be alert whenever they are out. And be conscious around them if they see any suspicious men and women lurking around they should report it immediately to the police authorities,” pahayag ni Panelo.

Base sa record ng Philippine National Police (PNP), nabatid na noong 2018 lamang, 17 na Chinese ang naitalang dinukot.
