Bigtime Chinese drug lord, timbog sa NAIA

Naaresto ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang wanted na miyembro ng isang big-time Chinese drug syndicate sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ayon kay Grifton Medina, hepe ng BI port operations division, naharang si Hong Liangyi, 29-anyos, sa departure area ng NAIA Termimal 3 noong Linggo ng gabi, December 8.

Pasakay sana si Hong sa flight patungong Istanbul, Turkey at saka bibiyahe patungong Tehran, Iran.

Sinabi ni Medina na inaresto si Hong matapos lumabas ang pangalan nito sa kanilang database na mayroong hold departure order at may kinakaharap na warrant of arrest dahil sa ilegal na droga sa Cavite at Batangas.

Ayon pa kay Medina, nakilala si Hong na miyembro ng Dragon Wu International Syndicate na itinuturong responsable sa distribusyon ng ilegal na droga sa bansa.

“Authorities have identified him (Hong) as a leading member of the Dragon Wu International Syndicate allegedly responsible for the production and distribution of illegal drugs in the country,” ani Medina.

Agad na dinala si Hong sa kustodiya ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Lumalabas na January 2018, si Hong kasama ang dalawa pang Chinese drug suspects ay inisyuhan ng Hold Departure Order ng Tagaytay City Regional Trial Court.

Mayroon ding hiwalay na drug case si Hong kasama ang 13 iba pa sa Rosario, Batangas na una nang naglabas ng arrest warrant noong June 2018.
