Proseso ng pagpaparehistro sa mga yate tatagal lang ng 5 araw
Limang araw na lang tatagal ang pagpaparehistro sa mga yate.
Ayon sa Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), limang araw na lang ang itatagal ngayon ng proseso para maiparehistro ng mga yacht owners ang kanilang yate.
Tiniyak ito ng MARINA at ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade sa mga may-ari ng yate kasunod ng paglulunsad ng Cavite-Manila Ferry Service sa Cavite City Port Terminal.
Sa ilalim ng MARINA Circular Number DS-2019-01 kinakailangang iparehistro sa ahensya ang mga yate napara sa recreational use.
Ang recreational vessels ay ang mga ginagamit sa ekslusibo para sa recreational o tourism development purposes – commercial man ito o pribado.
“For the first time in the history of the country, we have codified what we call the Recreational and Leisure Maritime Vessels Code, na kung saan ‘yung mga yate na nakikita ninyo na pumapalaot at tumatakbo ay nagkaroon na po ng codification,” ani Tugade.
Noon ayon kay Tugade ay inirereklamo ang tagal na halos 30 araw napagpaparehistro sa mga yate.
