Ayon kay Senator Koko Pimental, hindi nais ng gobyerno na talikuran o tuluyang putulin ang kasunduan sa Maynilad at Manila Water.

Aniya, alam naman ng administrasyong Duterte na hanggang 2022 pa ang bisa ng kasunduan sa dalawang water concessionaires.
