Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 134 kilometro Timog-Silangan ng Governor Generoso.
May lalim ang pagyanig na 60 kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Dahil may kalayuan sa lupa, hindi naman ito nagdulot ng pinsala sa ari-arian at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
