Ipinasususpinde ng House Ways and Means Committee sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang ipinapatupad na National Value Verification System (NVVS).

Ayon kay Albay Rep. Joey Salceda, labag ang NVVS sa nilagdaang kasunduan ng gobyerno sa world trade organization.
