Pumanaw na sa edad na 85 ang puppeteer ni Big Bird sa Sesame Street na si Caroll Spinney.
Pumanaw si Spinney sa kaniyang tahanan sa Connecticut matapos ang paglaban sa movement disorder na dystonia.
Noong nakaraang taon ay nagretiro sa show si Spinney at ganap nang iniwan ang kaniyang role bilang Big bird puppeteer.
Maliban kay Big Bird, si Spinney din ang puppeteer ni Oscar the Grouch.
Sa statement ng Sesame Workshop, tinawag na “artistic genius” si Spinney.
