P1.6 milyong halaga ng ‘kush’ nasabat ng Customs-NAIA

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA ang aabot sa P1.6 milyong halaga ng high-grade marijuana o ‘kush’ sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) sa Pasay City, araw ng Biyernes.

Sa pahayag ng BOC-NAIA, naharang ang isang parcel na idineklarang “Marvel Comic and Child Sleeping Bag”.

Pero nabulaga ang mga operatiba nang mapag-alamang kush ang laman nito na may bigat na 973 grams o halos isang kilo.

Galing ang shipment sa California, USA.

Nakapangalan ang parcel sa isang indibidwal mula sa Taguig.

Timbog naman ang isang suspek makaraang i-claim ang shipment.

Sasailalim sa inquest proceedings ang suspek sa paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at Customs Modernization Tariff Act (CMTA).
