9 na babaeng Chinese na ibinubugaw umano sa SEA Games visitors nailigtas sa Pampanga
Nailigtas ng mga otoridad ang siyam na babaeng Chinese na biktima ng human trafficking sa Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Ayon sa mga otoridad, ang mga babaeng Chinese ay ibinubugaw sa mga bisitang nasa bansa para sa 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
Mayroong venue ng SEA Games sa Pampanga at Tarlac.
Ayon kay Col. Rhoderick Armamento, deputy director for operations ng Central Luzon police, tatlong Chinese nationals na nagsisilbing bugaw angat umano ay miyembro ng isang international prostitution ring ang naaresto sa operasyon.
Kinilala silang sina Fan Jianwu muna Hube, China; Wang Xiankai mula Sichuan at isang Jeff.
Nakuhanan sila ng P6,000 na cash, mobile phones, kahon-kahong condoms, passports, identification cards at Toyota Vios.
Mahaharap ang tatlong nearesto sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 10364 o Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
