Duterte bumisita sa Legazpi, kuntento sa ginagawa ng gobyerno para sa typhoon victims
Lumipad patungong Legazpi City, Albay si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para alamin ang sitwasyon ng mga nasalanta ng Bagyong Tisoy.
Sa situation briefing, sinabi ng pangulo, na kuntento siya sa ginagawa ng gobyerno sa pagresponde sa epekto ng kalamidad.
Alam anya ng mga kaukulang ahensya ng gobyerno ang kanilang ginagawa.
“I don’t have to give any critique because I said everyone knew what to do before, during and after. I’m more than satisfied with the performance of the government,” ani Duterte.
Nagpahayag naman ng pakikiramay ang pangulo sa mga Bicolano at tiniyak na sapat ang pondo ng gobyerno para sa relief efforts.
“And I commiserate with the Bicolanos for this fate. Apparently, you are condemned to suffer this kind of crisis every now and then,” ayon sa pangulo.
Ipinag-utos ni Duterte ang agarang pagsusumite ng government agencies ng kanilang ulat tungkol sa pinsala ng bagyo para magawan ng paraan ang pondo.
“Question is, as always, if we have this kind of situation, after you make the assessment, the evaluation is there, it’s always money. So it would be good to… for the entire government agencies who are here, beginning from DSWD and ends up with the Department of Trade, to submit your report immediately so that they can pass it on to the proper agency concerned. This time, if there’s an available money, we can get it from the budget office,” giit ng presidente.
Samantala, binisita rin ng pangulo ang Legazpi Airport na nagtamo ng malubhang pinsala.
Ayon sa Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office, aabot na sa P2.5 bilyon ang naging pinsala ng bagyo sa agrikultura, imprastraktura at social services.
Aabot sa 13 ang nasawi sa pananalasa ng Bagyong Tisoy sa bansa at libu-libong pamilya ang inilikas.
