WATCH: DOJ i-aapela ang arbitration Court decision sa concession agreements ng MWSS sa water utilities
Posibleng i-apela ng DOJ sa arbitration Court sa Singapore ang naunang desisyon nito na pumapabor sa Maynilad at Manila water sa ilang probisyon ng concession agreements sa pagitan nila ng MWSS.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, batay sa pag-review ng DoJ sa 1997 concession agreement ay nakita nilang may ilang mga nasasaad sa kasunduan na hindi paborable sa pamahalaan at sa mga consumers kabilang ang probisyon na nagsasabing hindi maaaring makialam ang pamahalaan sa pagtatakda ng mga water companies sa presyo ng singil sa tubig.
