Dalawang bagong Portal-type x-ray machines magagamit na sa MICP

Natapos na ng Bureau of Customs ang installation sa dalawang Portal-type x-ray machines sa Manila International Container Port (MICP).

Dahil sa dalawang bagong Portal x-ray machines madaragdagan ng 7,680 kada araw ang maximum x-ray inspection capacity sa MICP.

Ang isang portal-type x-ray ay kayang makapag-scan ng 160 containers kada oras.

Bago magkaroon ng bagong portal-type x-ray ang MICP ay mayroon lamang 7 mobile-type x-rays.

Ang mobile-type x-rays ay kaya lang makapag-scan ng 25 containers kada oras o 600 containers kada araw.
