Pilipinas kinilala bilang ‘Best SEA Games’ organizer

Hindi lang ang mga atletang Filipino ang humahakot ng parangal kundi maging ang Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC).

Kinilala ng Sports Industry Awards Asia ang PHISGOC bilang ‘Best SEA Games Organizer.’

Ito ay pagkilala sa pagkaka-organisa para sa 56 sporting events sa ginaganap na 30th SEA Games.

Maging ang ginanap na opening ceremony sa Philippine Arena noong Sabado, November 30, ay isinalarawan din na ‘world class.’

Ang Sports Industry Awards Asia ay isa sa mga prestisyoso at kinikilalang award-giving bodies para kilalanin ang mga nagho-host ng sporting events at sport personalities.

Tinanggap mula kay SPIA CEO Eric Gottschalk ang pagkilala kina PHISGOC Chairman Alan Peter Cayetano at PHISGOC Ramon Suzara sa Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Kinilala rin ang Pilipinas bilang ‘powerhouse’ sa larangan ng palakasan sa buong Asya dahil sa paghakot ng higit 90 medalya sa loob lang ng tatlong araw.
