Batas para pondohan ang national performing arts companies, nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Duterte
Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang bagong batas na magbibigay ng pondo para sa national performing arts companies.
Sa ilalim ng Republic Act 11392, makatatanggap ng tig-lima hanggang sampung milyong pisong pondo ang National Ballet/Contemporary Dance Company, National Theater Company, National Orchestra/National Choral Company at National Indigenous Performing Ensemble sa loob ng limang taon.
Nakasaad sa batas na dapat na ipagpatuloy ng NPAC ang training at pagbibigay edukasyon para sa mga performing artists at iba pa.
Inaatasan din ang NPAC na magsagawa ng pananaliksik kaugnay sa performing arts para maitaguyod ang cultural identity.
