Catholic churches sa Bicol Region binuksan para sa evacuees
Bukas ang pintuan ng mga Katolikong Simbahan sa Bicol Region para sa mga lilikas bunsod ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Tisoy.
Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ni Legazpi Bishop Joel Baylon na gawing evacuation centers ang mga simbahan at pastoral halls.
Ang mga simbahan naman na malapit sa designated evacuation centers ay dapat ding buksan ang kanilang parish/public restrooms para sa mga lumikas.
“For those parishes near the designated evacuation centers, kindly offer your parish/public restrooms for the use of our brothers and sisters in the evacuation centers,” ani Baylon.
Pinatutulong ang mga parokya sa mga kaukulang ahensya ng gobyerno at sa disaster risk reduction and management offices sa pagsiguro sa kaligtasan ng mga mamamayan.
Una nang naglabas ng ‘oratio imperata’ o ‘obligatory prayer’ si Baylon para mailigtas ang mga mamamayan mula sa pinsala ng bagyo.
Ang Bagyong Tisoy ay nag-landfall na sa Gubat, Sorsogon alas-11:00 ng gabi ng Lunes at nananalasa ngayon sa Bicol Region at Eastern Visayas.
