BSP: Inflation rate nitong Nobyembre nasa 0.9-1.7%

Inaasahang bahagyang bumilis ang inflation o pagtaas sa presyo ng bilihin nitong Nobyembre.

Ayon sa pahayag na inilabas ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – Department of Economic Research (BSP-DER) araw ng Biyernes, nasa 0.9 hanggang 1.7 percent ang November 2019 inflation rate.

Noong Oktubre, umabot lang sa 0.8 percent ang inflation rate na pinakamababa sa loob ng 42 buwan.

Ayon sa DER, posibleng ang mataas na singil sa kuryente, mataas na presyo ng gasolina, LPG at ilang food items ay nagpataas sa inflation rate ngayong buwan.

Gayunman, tinapatan ito ng mababang presyo ng bigas at paglakas ng piso.

“The increases in electricity as well as higher prices of gasolines, LPG and selected food items, are seen as the primary sources of upward price pressures for the month. Meanwhile, inflation could be tempered by lower domestic rice prices and the appreciation of the peso” ayon sa pahayag ng BSP-DER.

Sinabi ng DER na patuloy na tututukan ng Bangko Sentral ang pagbabago sa mga presyo para tiyaking ang monetary policy ay alinsunod sa kanilang price stability mandate.

Ilalabas ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) ang official inflation data para ngayong buwan sa December 5, Huwebes.
