Duterte ipahahawak na sa militar ang logistics ng int’l sporting events na host ang Pilipinas
Sakaling mayroon muling international sporting events na host ang Pilipinas, militar na ang hahawak sa logistics ayon kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ito ang sinabi ng pangulo matapos ang mga aberyang sa transportasyon at accomondation na sumalubong sa ilang delegado ng 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
Sa press briefing sa Malacañang Huwebes ng gabi, iginiit ni Duterte na mas magaling na organizers ang mga sundalo.
“Next time… the military will handle it. They are better organizers because the entire Armed Forces (of the Philippines) is one big organization. And they are trained to be structural in thinking,” ayon sa pangulo.
“The planners in the military, not the soldiers (in the) infantry, the planners of the military,” dagdag nito.
Ayon sa pangulo, kampante pa siya sa mga sundalo at hindi masyadong nasasangkot ang mga ito sa korapsyon.
“Mas kampante ako kasi itong mga military, hindi masyado sa korapsyon,” dagdag ni Duterte.
Nangako namn ang pangulo ng imbestigasyon sa hosting ng bansa sa SEA Games kapag natapos na ito sa December 11.
