DOT nangangailangan pa ng volunteers para sa SEA Games
Ilang araw bago ang opening ceremony sa 30th Southeast Asian Games, nanawagan ng dagdag pang volunteers ang Department of Tourism (DOT).
Ang mga volunteer ay magsisilbing Sports Liaison Officers (SLOs) para sa SEA Games.
Kabilang sa qialifications ay ang mga sumusunod:
– emotionally mature
– 21 years old and above
– localized (for familiarity purposes)
Kabilang sa gagampanang tungkulin ng SLOs ay ang pagiging guide ng team, pag-asiste sa mga pangangailangan ng team at pagtugon sa mga basic inquiry.

Ayon sa DOT, ang pagiging SLO ang pinakamahirap na makpagrecruit ng volunteer dahil shifting ang kanilang magiging duty.
