Jordan ibinigay na ang 2 attack helicopters sa Pilipinas

Tinupad ng Jordan ang pangakong magbibigay ng attack helicopters sa Pilipinas.

Isang blogsite ang nag-ulat na dumating na sa bansa ang dalawang Bell AH-1S Cobra helicopters noong Martes, November 26.

Lumapag sa Clark, Pampanga ang isang Russian-made Antonov cargo plane lulan ang dalawang helicopters.

Kinumpirma mismo ni National Security Adviser at former Armed Forces Chief of Staff Hermogenes Esperon ang ulat at sinabing inihahanda na ang pag-assemble sa helicopters.

Sasailalim anya ito sa serye ng flight tests at magagamit na sa Disyembre.

“The helicopters arrived Tuesday morning and will be reassembled to put rotors and launchers. They are expected to be operational by the end of December,” ani Esperon.

Matatandaang nangako ang Jordanian government kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong 2018 na magbibigay sila ng dalawang Cobra helicopters.
