Salceda: Walang imbestigasyong uusad sa Kamara vs Cayetano sa isyu ng SEA Games
Posibleng hindi magsagawa ng kahit anong imbestigasyon ang Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso hinggil sa mga kontrobersiya sa hosting ng Pilipinas sa 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Ang organizing committee ng SEA Games ay pinamumunuan ni House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.
Sa Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum sa Maynila araw ng Miyerkules, sinabi ni Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Salceda na walang uusad na imbestigasyon kay Cayetano sa Kamara dahil tutulungan ito ng mga kongresista.
“Siyempre, Speaker namin ‘yan and therefore tutulungan namin ‘yan. I don’t think an investigation will prosper in the House,” ani Salceda.
Giit ng mambabatas, ililigtas nila ang kanilang lider.
“Of course we will try to save our king. We will circle the wagons around our Speaker. We will support our Speaker. We are all doing our own bit,” dagdag nito.
Una nang ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang imbestigasyon sa mga isyu at posibleng korapsyon sa SEA Games.
Samantala, sinabi ni Salceda na kakainin ng mga kritiko ang kanilang mga sinabi sa opening ceremony ng SEA Games sa Sabado.
Ito anya ang pinakamagandang SEA Games sa kasaysayan.
“Pagdating ng November 30, there will be a tidal wave of reversal of public sentiment. These games will make you proud,” ani Salceda.
