BOC employee na nakatalaga sa MICP huli sa pagtanggap ng suhol

Inaresto ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang isang empleyado ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) na nakatalaga sa Manila International Container Port (MICP.

Nakuhanan ang empleyado ng customs ng under-the-table cash na may kabuuang halaga na P7,760.

Ang nasabing mga pera na pawang P100, P50, at P20 ay isinisingit sa mga dokumentong isinusumite sa Entry Processing Unit (EPU) Import Office ng BOC.

Ayon kay Captain Allen Dalangin, commander ng Special Deployment Force ng PCG sa Bureau of Customs, dinala na sa Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) ng MICP ang suspek para sa imbestigasyon.

Nakatakda ito ng isailalim sa inquest proceedings sa Manila Regional Trial Court para sa kasong administratibo at kasong kriminal.
