Lea Salonga hindi na makapagtatanghal sa SEA Games opening ceremony
Inanunsyo ng award-winning broadway icon na si Lea Salonga na hindi na siya makapagtatanghal sa opening ceremony ng 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG).
Sa kanyang Twitter post Lunes ng gabi, sinabi ni Salonga na bibiyahe siya patungong Singapore ngayong Martes para sa isang show.
“Leaving on a jet plane for Singapore tomorrow and will begin our 14-show Sweeney run on Thursday night. This means I will not be performing at the SEA Games opening ceremonies on Saturday. I won’t be back home til after Sweeney is done,” ani Salonga.
Tampok ang broadway diva sa musical na Sweeney Todd Manila kasama si Jett Pangan.
Magaganap ang opening ceremony ng SEA Games sa Sabado, November 30 sa Philippine Arena.
Si Salonga ang umawit sa official theme song ng SEA Games na may pamagat na ‘We Win As One’.
Ang kanta ay binigyang titik ni Floy Quintos na nilapatan ng tono ni National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab.
