PNP aminadong walang maisasampang kaso laban sa mahuhuling vapers

Walang maisasampang kaso at walang parusang pwedeng ipatupad laban sa mga mahuhuling gumagamit ng vape ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).

Sa press briefing araw ng Huwebes, sinabi ni Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa na aarestuhin lamang nila ang vapers para sundin ang direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Dagdag pa ng police official, pinaiiral ng PNP ang police powers na maaaring protektahan ang public interest partikular sa isyu ng kalusugan.

“Under the police powers of the state, you can do that,” ani Gamboa.

Maaari lamang din anya magparusa sa mga lalabag sa vape ban sakaling maglabas ng hiwalay na executive order (EO) ang Malacañang partikular sa vaping.

Wala rin umanong ‘probative value’ ang police blotter at hindi ito maaaring magamit sa korte.

Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Duterte ang importasyon at paggamit ng vape sa mga pampublikong lugar dahil sa umano’y epekto nito sa kalusugan.
